Even more foreboding

So, I haven't searched everywhere yet but, I have backtracked most of the places, and unless it turns up when I turn my apartment inside out tomorrow, I have lost my 1GB usb key.  What does this mean?  Not a whole lot, well, actually, it is pretty bad, because I had a lot of things on there, that, well, I just don't want everyone to have access to.  This was a key that I wore around my neck, so I took it everywhere with me.  The only times it would come off were when I was using it, or when I was showering.  I wore it to bed, to work, any time I would go anywhere, it came with me.  And now it is gone.  I keep finding myself moving my hand to where it usually was, and feeling "naked" without it.  There are files on there, that others simply shouldn't have access to, and I should have encrypted, but I didn't.  So, if it doesn't show up tomorrow during my search, I think on payday, I will offer a $200USD reward to get it back.  Hopefully, I will get it back, or it isn't really lost.

Yeah, I have a horrible pit of my stomach feeling when I think about what was on there, and who may be reading through my secret thoughts and feelings (my "journal" of things that I don't dare put here is on there.)  So yeah… Another thing, for some reason, I have this huge lump in my throat.  Probably because I should tell someone else about this, because some of the things on there affect them too, but I haven't.  Likely because I haven't talked to them in a while, and well, I am kind of dreading telling them about it.  So, anyways, I am going to try to go to sleep now.  I should also double check in my car.  God I hope I still have it.

Well…… I know what’s on there… and you know… though I sincerely hope that it isn’t lost because it sucks to lose stuff like that – especially stuff that cannot be replaced – it’s not the end of the world from my position – I mean – the stuff that involves someone else…. that stuff – not a big deal – they will live won’t they? It’s not like its the pass codes for our Country’s nuclear countermeasures or something… its just files of stuff that – while it will be unfortunate for others to see (others that the files were not meant to be seen by of course) it will not end the world or totally destroy anyone’s lives… hey – I’m not planning to run for President – are you? No need to worry about a scandal then right? And hey – I seriously don’t think that this “someone” is going to be that upset with you about it – seriously – shit happens – its not like you misplaced it on purpose – or even gave it to someone else to go through – you just can’t find it and/or someone snatched it while you were in the shower…. Anyway – try and relax about it – and that may help you to locate it – when you stop stressing on it so hard it may be easier to either remember where you actually put it (if you are indeed the one that misplaced it) or it will show up when you least expect it… breathe :) it does help – I promise.

  2. Just testing to see if my theory about the spam catcher is correct or not – if it isn’t and this actually gets flagged as spam – just delete it instead of allowing it :) hehe

  3. guess it doesn’t matter if I am logged in or not – it is still flagging my comments as spam – I *think* you may need to tone down the spam controls a bit because it doesn’t matter what the fuck I put in the comment its getting flagged – or maaaaaaaaaaaybe you have my name, e-mail and website address flagged for spam rejection so you can decide what to let show up and what to keep from being seen… ;) maybe that’s it – I think I figured it out – you don’t want me to come on here and say some crazy shit without being able to read it first… =P

There was actually a *lot* more stuff on there than what may seem – this was my 1gb stick that I got for myself for Christmas… since you know, I didn’t get any other presents, didn’t even get a decent meal now that I think about it (I did for Thanksgiving though :-D ) But anyways, there was a lot of stuff on that thing that I really, really wish people didn’t have access to, and I have yet to find it – I even cleaned the hell out of my apartment while searching (it really needed it since one of the roommates moved out (other one hopefully out in a couple months)heh but anyways, yeah, it wasn’t an intentional give away, so that part is good, although I would never have just given someone my 1gb stick without getting all the stuff off it first – I lost my favorite buddy icon for myself while it was on there too :(
